The Temecula Valley Museum offers a traveling exhibit designed for Temecula and Murrieta elementary schools. The exhibit portrays the history and cultural heritage of our community through pictures and artifacts. The Eight exhibit panels can be set up in the school library, multi-purpose room or third-grade pods. Each panel introduces the students to a different era of history—Native Americans, Spanish Colonial, Pioneer and Gold Rush, Statehood. The exhibits are booked by the schools for a one-week period. A special educator’s guide that outlines the various subjects including a bibliography is provided for teachers use. Contact the Temecula Valley Museum office at 694-6450 for more information.
