Culture Day at Home & In-Person
At the Temecula Valley Museum, we celebrate a different region or culture on the second Saturday of each month. Join us and learn about the history and culture of you or your neighbors! Each Month’s focus: FEB 11 – New Zealand; MAR 11 – Israel; APR 8 – Macedonia; MAY 13 – Czech Republic; JUN 10 – Iceland; JUL 8 – Portugal; AUG 12 – Colombia; SEP 9 – Philippines; OCT 14 – South Korea; NOV 11 – Nepal; DEC 9 – Christmas Around the World.
In March, we visit Israel! Join us at the Temecula Valley Museum on March 11, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm and celebrate the history and Heritage of Israel’s culture with food, crafts, activities, a scavenger hunt, and a free art lesson with instructors from Bigfoot Art Classes. Online activities and content will be available soon.
In February, we visit New Zealand! Join us at the Temecula Valley Museum on February 11, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm and experience this island country with cultural refreshments, learning New Zealand slang, crafting a paper Kiwi Bird magnet, Scavenger Hunt, and an art Class by Bigfoot Art Classes. Online activities and content will be available soon.
In December, we celebrate Christmas Around The World. This event highlights the Christmas season, featuring all cultures celebrated throughout 2022. On Saturday, December 10, at the Temecula Valley Museum, enjoy a festive and culturally enriching experience. This event includes assorted samples of cultural food, live entertainment by the Performing Folk Dancers of Balboa Park, crafts, a language game, and a free art activity by Bigfoot Art Classes.
