Artists of Dorland

Dorland Mountain Arts Colony was founded in 1979 by world-renowned concert pianist, Ellen Babcock  Dorland and environmentalist, Barbara Horton. Individual cottages provide studio and living facilities within the Dorland Preserve, a 300-acre wilderness area acquired with the help of The Nature Conservancy. Dorland Mountain Arts Colony is a nonprofit organization. Its purpose is to deepen the quality of the creative process, enabling its residents to explore their own creative resources without distraction.

In this exhibition we are showing a variety of artist residents from the Dorland Mountain Arts Colony. Currently on display are the some of the Dorland artists until June 26th, 2021. A second group of Dorland artists will exhibit starting July 1st, 2021.
