The Temecula Valley Museum is developing a database of images, documents and publications for use by students and researchers. When completed the database will enable on site computer access to items based on subject, title, author or keywords. Eventually it is our objective to have all the material available on line.
The Museum encourages local historians to publish their research in the High Country Magazine. The museum also undertakes occasional publication of local history journals and accounts. Publications in print include the Horace Parker Libritos: “The Historic Valley of Temecula,” –The Temecula Massacre, The Treaty of Temecula, Thriving, Tempting Temecula of 1909, and The Early Indians of Temecula. Our most recent Horace Parker edition is The Brush Country Journal. Currently, museum staff is working on a book retelling the stories of individuals memorialized on the They Passed This Way monument.
