Research
The Temecula Valley Museum is developing a database of images, documents and publications for use by students and researchers. When completed the database will enable on site computer access to items based on subject, title, author or keywords. Eventually it is our objective to have all the material available on line.
The Museum encourages local historians to publish their research in the High Country Magazine. The museum also undertakes occasional publication of local history journals and accounts. Publications in print include the Horace Parker Librettos: “The Historic Valley of Temecula,” –The Temecula Massacre, The Treaty of Temecula, Thriving, Tempting Temecula of 1909, and The Early Indians of Temecula. Publications currently being prepared by museum staff include The Brush Country Journal by Horace Parker and a rewriting of They Passed This Way.
