Maggi Allen Scholarship

As a memorial to Maggi Allen, who served as the first director of the Temecula Children’s Museum and prior to that as Museum Specialist at the Temecula Valley Museum, the Temecula Valley Museum Board is offering twelve scholarships to the Summer Explorers Program.  This program offers students the opportunity to discover local, natural, and social history at the Temecula Valley Museum.  The week-long summer camps run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and use group activities, guest speakers, hands-on projects, creative crafts, period games, educational presentations, and exciting field trips to help kids experience the joy of discovery.

We are asking your assistance in getting the applications for the scholarships to the appropriate students.  The applicants should be students who have shown an interest in local and natural history and who would benefit from this program, but perhaps be unable to attend without this financial aid.  The deadline for submitting the applications is June.  Completed applications should be mailed to:
